S&A currently employs four individuals including one accountant, an office manager, an assistant district manager, and Judy Simonson, President of Simonson & Associates, Inc.
Judy has over 25 years experience in special district management, finance and accounting. Prior to starting Simonson & Associates, Judy worked in the city planning, architecture and construction management fields for 18 years. She has served on the Boards of two metropolitan districts, a water and sanitation district and two reservoir and irrigation ditch companies.
Nicki has been with S&A for almost 10 years. She mainly provides accounting and district management services for district clients. She also coordinates office support services for staff, full bookkeeping services including payroll management, financial and tax reporting for the firm as well as specialty services including website development and customer relations.
Barb has been with S&A for over 18 years. She currently oversees all accounting and financial management services for various entities with assets that include private equity investments, mutual funds, commercial and industrial real estate, as well as senior housing, golf course and special event operations. Services include complete record keeping, financial reporting, and tax return coordination and reporting.
Rebecca has been with S&A for over 2 years. She tends to the daily office operations, customer relations, report preparation and board meeting packet productions including meeting minutes. She also assists managers with accounts payable and receivable, billing, delinquent accounts, and collections.
